One Direction's fans shouldn't be Tweeting death threats because Louis was expertly tackled
One Direction are probably the biggest band in the world right now and the lads often make light of the fact that many of their young fans obsess about every detail of their heroes’ lives.
This weekend he was involved in a charity football game and during the match came off worse during a pretty robust tackle from formidable Premiership player Gabby Agbonlahor.
This is a perfectly normal event in football games the length and breadth of the country.
It’s the reaction afterwards from some of the more dedicated’ One Direction fans that I have an issue with.
Now, I’ve no doubt Louis was clearly in pain (whilst limping off he actually vomited from shock and stress), but I’m sure even he thought the Tweets afterwards from angry followers were shocking.
‘This guy hurt Louis knee. I shall hurt your face. I better hear that you apologized or I will find you, and I will kill you,’ Tweeted one fan.
I mean, REALLY!??! There were numerous other furious reactions from ID devotees.
While I’m sure professional footballer Gabby won’t be quaking in his boots over a few threats from some lovestruck schoolgirls, I do find it worrying that One Direction’s fans react like this if ANYTHING happens to one of the boys.
This isn’t the first time 1D fans have taken to social media to abuse anyone who ‘harms’ one of the young singers.
I’d like to point out that Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn and Liam are just 5 normal(ish) lads and throughout their lives a huge amount of varied things are going to happen to them, some good, some not so good.
The One Direction fans need to understand this and not fly off the handle every time one of them falls over.
