Paul Hollywood's wife has reportedly decided to knee him where it hurts after 15 years of marriage and wants a divorce. Girl Power!
If you’ve ever been cheated on, you’ll know all about the heartbreaking and consequently life-changing decision you’re forced to make through no fault of your own. In the words of the band Clash – Should I Stay Or Should I Go?
Telly baker Paul Hollywood‘s estranged wife, Alexandra, 49, has reportedly decided to knee him where it hurts after 15 years of marriage and said she wants a divorce. Girl Power!
Last night, Alexandra spoke about her marriage breakdown for the first time on Twitter, saying: I’ve lived in a bubble all these years… I had no idea of the strength you need to go it alone… single mothers, I salute you!’
Recent reports in the newspapers say a source close to her insists: She has spoken to a solicitor about filing for a divorce and is thought to have begun proceedings. It’s dreadfully sad, she thought they would be married for ever.’
But a divorce should come as no surprise to dad-of-one Paul, after The Great British Bake Off star reportedly grew close to his co-host Marcela Valladolid as they filmed a US version of the show.
Anthea said: I can confirm we have separated. I need time to consider my immediate plans and will be making no further comment at this time.’
Meanwhile sources close to Anthea say: She had tried to make it work but what happened last year was always hanging over them.’
When Anthea met Grant he was already married and he struggled to choose between his wife and her, going back and forth. But unfortunately for Anthea, she’s clearly never heard that when the ‘other woman’ becomes the wife, there’s a vacancy created. But now she’s finally found the strength to walk away.
I get that some relationships are worth fighting for – look at the WAGS who hang on in there – but isn’t it refreshing to see women finally standing up for themselves and saying, Do you know what? I deserve better than this!’
When I found a few long, ginger hairs (definitely NOT mine) in my bed once upon a time – I’m presuming she pulled them out and carefully arranged them on my pillow – I didn’t hesitate in kicking my man to the curb.
It was the best decision I ever made. Undoubtedly, it’s the most heart-wrenching and painful thing Anthea, Alexandra and any other women coming to terms with the end of their marriage have ever gone through.
But trust me, no matter how much you miss him, cry yourself to sleep at night and wonder if you’ll ever be happy again – you will. Blissfully!
