Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall shouldn't allow internet trolls to get her down - Instagram won't be the same without her
Every true Little Mix fan knows that they’re not huge fans of Twitter. To get a true picture of what Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson are feeling you need to head over to Instagram.
Cara Delevingne and Rita Ora might be obsessed with using their Instagram accounts to upload countless shameless selfies, but the Little Mix girls have mastered the art of using the visual social network.
While most celebs delight in leaving cryptic clues for fans to figure out amongst themselves, Little Mix loves to post lengthy paragraphs with their pics.
This pairing of words with images can be really revealing and can read like mini diary entries.
I find it endlessly fascinating – Twitter‘s meager 140 characters seems very limiting after a good scroll on Instagram.
And no other member of The X Factor‘s winning girl group loves to pour their heart out to her Little Mixers more than Jade Thirlwall (@jade_badwi).
And naturally once the cowardly internet trolls caught a sniff of drama, they rallied against Jade Thirlwall too.
But it seems that today Jade Thirlwall‘s finally had enough of dealing with web scum.
After posting a screenshot of a hateful message (which has since been taken down), Jade Thirlwall followed suit with an ominous black square along with the caption that she’s ‘taking a break from Instagram‘.
I’ve also been the victim of trolling and I can assure you it’s not fun. But once you realise that it doesn’t take a very brave person to hide behind a username and talk shit online it ceases to have any hurtful effects.
Haters gonna hate – that’s why I’m calling on every Little Mixer worldwide to help me get Jade Thirlwall back on Instagram!
If we all send her some love together, I hope Jade Thirlwall will realise that she’s very much needed and already missed on Instagram.
A picture says a thousand words and Jade Thirlwall‘s photos tell a story of a strong girl from South Shields who isn’t about to let a bunch of Twitter trash get the best of her.
Jade Thirlwall needs to rise above the haters and start listening to the lyrics to Little Mix‘s own inspiring single, Wings on their album DNA:
‘And we don’t let nobody bring us down
No matter what you say it won’t hurt me
Don’t matter if I fall from the sky
These wings are made to fly’
Either that, or start using Instagram‘s ‘block user’ button!
