Before finding fame with One Direction, Harry Styles was born to mother Anne Twist and father Des Styles in Redditch, Worcestershire. He has an older sister named Gemma.

Anne and Des split when their son was seven.

Harry moved to Holmes Chapel, Cheshire as a youngster and attended the local comprehensive school, where he became lead singer of group White Eskimo.

In 2010, Harry auditioned for The X Factor.

He failed to qualify as a solo contestant but was later put into boy band One Direction. Harry Styles teamed up with Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne.

The group proved extremely popular with the public and ended up coming 3rd in the competition.

One Direction released their first song What Makes You Beautiful in September 2011, which topped the charts in the UK and Ireland. This was followed by albums Up All Night, Take Me Home, Where We Are and Four.

Shortly after, Harry hit the headlines when The Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack – 14 years his senior – became his girlfriend.

They split three months later but the heartthrob isn’t short of girl attention.

Harry dated Taylor Swift and has been linked to Kendall Jenner, Emily Atack, Paige Reifler and Emma Ostilly.

Larry Shippers are a very vocal group of Directioners. They’re obsessed with the imagined romance between Harry and Louis, which they call Larry Stylinson.

Louis has furiously denied the stories and Harry followed his lead when a reporter asked him outright whether they’re together.

With One Direction, Harry Styles has had the opportunity to travel all around the world. He’s toured in continents including Australia, North America and Asia.

The boys have performed numerous sold-out gigs.

1D released their 3D concert film This Is Us in 2013, which they followed up with second movie in October 2014.

Harry has admitted that he likes to get naked and isn’t afraid to show off his 4 nipples.
