Kelly Brook was born Kelly Ann Parsons to parents Sandra and Kenneth in 1979. She has younger brother Damian and older half-sister Sasha.

Her mother was a cook and her father worked as a scaffolder.

Kelly studied at the Thomas Aveling School in Warren Wood, Rochester. She then attended London’s Italia Conti Academy Of Theatre Arts for three years.

After leaving stage school at 16, Kelly was turned down by a number of acting agents. However, her luck was about to change.

Kelly’s mum sent her picture to a local modelling competition, which she won. She was signed by a glamour agency, changed her surname and started doing swimwear and lingerie shoots.

Kelly has continued to be a successful model, topping FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women In The World list in 2005 and releasing her own swimwear line for New Look.

At 18, Kelly Brook was encouraged to audition for a presenting role on Channel 4’s morning show The Big Breakfast.

She was chosen to host alongside Johnny Vaughan – replacing Denise Van Outen – but ended up being harshly criticised for her on-screen skills.

Kelly has admitted that the furore was ‘hard to deal with’ at such a young age and she left after a few months.

In 2005, Kelly gave presenting another shot when she fronted dating show Celebrity Love Island alongside Patrick Kielty.

She joined the Britain’s Got Talent panel in 2009 but was axed after less than a week. When Fearne Cotton was on maternity leave from Celebrity Juice in 2013, Kelly had a stint as team captain.

Kelly has also tried reality TV. In 2007, she was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing. Sadly, she pulled out after her father died from lung cancer.

Kelly hasn’t given up on her original dream of acting. She’s starred in films School For Seduction, The Italian Job, Piranha 3D and Survival Island.

Her TV credits include Smallville, Marple and Moving Wallpaper. She’s appeared on stage in plays such as Calendar Girls and Fat Pig.

In her personal life, Kelly ended her seven-year relationship with actor Jason Statham in 2004. She was engaged to Titanic’s Billy Zane before they split in 2008.

Kelly went on to date rugby hunk Thom Evans but they broke up in 2013 after she suffered two devastating miscarriages.

She had an on-off romance with sportsman Danny Cipriani before ex-Gladiator David McIntosh popped the question in 2014. They ended things a few months later.
