Before finding fame on Geordie Shore, Ricci Guarnaccio was born in Durham in 1986.

Ricci had a privileged upbringing and admits he was always a bit of a mummy’s boy. The Geordie lad went to private school from the age of 4 and enjoyed playing sports.

As well as being athletic, Ricci was also handy with a pair of scissors. He trained as a hairdresser, firstly in London and then in Durham.

In 2010 Ricci opened his own hair salon with the help of his parents before getting his break on reality TV a year later.

When he joined the cast of Geordie Shore, Ricci became known for his quote: ‘Got the looks, got the charm; it just works.’

Ricci started dating fellow cast member Vicky Pattison and the fiery couple kept viewers hooked with their on-off romance.

During filming of series 3, Ricci proposed to Vicky as they enjoyed a romantic meal together in Cancún, Mexico.

The reality star had a plane fly by carrying the message: ‘Vicky, will you marry me?’

Shortly after their engagement on Geordie Shore, Ricci and Vicky split up and Ricci left the show at the end of series 5.

He came face-to-face with Vicky again on MTV dating show Ex On The Beach in 2014 and the pair had an explosive showdown.

Ricci has claimed that Vicky slapped him several times during their relationship when they were rowing but Vicky has denied this.

Since leaving Geordie Shore, Ricci has pursued a variety of projects. He jetted out to Australia to judge MTV Australia’s Worldie of the Year competition, requiring him to select a winner from several bikini-clad babes.

In the summer of 2014 Ricci returned to reality TV as a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother and happily flirted with TOWIE’s Lauren Goodger. He came in joint 7th place.
