Ditch dull Nicole – Scary Spice should become a permanent judge on X Factor
Yay! The X Factor is back. I loved Saturday’s episode (which I’ve now watched twice after a sneak peek at the press launch last week).
And after watching it twice (and loving it equally both times) it’s a definite in my opinion that the biggest draw in the first episode, apart from standout contestants Jahmene Douglas and Ella Henderson, is guest judge Mel B.
Seriously, Mel B is one scary, Scary Spice. That thing she did with the Spice Girls dolls? Terrifying.
And excellent timing, ITV – in my humble opinion you’ve totally destroyed the Spice Girls‘ Olympics closing ceremony reunion there. Genius.
But Mel did the job we all wanted – the meanie act, which the X Factor is so in need of.
And I want her to get the gig next year – which it’s been reported today in The Sun that she may.
Fingers crossed. Yeah, Bitchy Spice was mean to a pensioner. So what?
We need that Simon Cowell figure back – and Mel was definitely the SyCo of the weekend’s show.
Will we see any more of her in the audition rounds? I hope so, but it’s all top secret for now.
And don’t get me started on wishy-washy Nicole Scherzinger. Is that tumbleweed over there in the corner?
Buck up your ideas, Nic. You’re so blah. And your judge’s seat is definitely not safe with the likes of Mel B round the corner.
