The X Factor hopeful's nan says Christopher has had hours of therapy to help with his nerves

Christopher Maloney‘s nan has hit out at The X Factor judges for ‘bullying’ her grandson.

Seventy-six year old Pat O’Brien says comments such as Louis Walsh describing Chris as ‘boring’ are upsetting her and the whole family.

‘Those comments – they might as well say them to me – they’re cutting me in two even worse,’ she says.

‘It’s like bullying. Nobody else on the show gets those comments.

‘I’m behind Christopher all the way, but its killing me doing it.’

Pat says Chris, 24, has had hours of therapy from the show’s medical team and from vocal coaches to overcome nerves which saw him shaking throughout his audition.

And she admits she’s had sleepless nights but is still proud of Christopher‘s achievement on The X Factor so far.

‘He’s human, he’s got a heart, and a kind word costs nothing,’ Pat tells The Sunday Mirror
