The model is rumoured to be a contestant on this year's show

Abbey Clancy looks set to show off her moves on Strictly Come Dancing.

The blonde model, 27 – who’s married to footballer Peter Crouch – has reportedly signed a contract worth an estimated £35,000 to compete on the BBC show.

Abbey is really excited to be appearing on Strictly,’ says a source.

‘All her family and friends watch it and Peter is being very supportive – he can’t wait to see Abbey in her slinky, sparkly costumes.’

Other stars rumoured to have joined up include swimmer Rebecca Adlington and actress Teri Hatcher, while Tom Daley has said that he’d like to perform because the show’s ‘so sparkly’.

Abbey was spotted working out in London yesterday – and it looks like she and Stoke City striker Peter, 32, may soon be spending quite a lot of time in the capital.

‘Obviously living in Cheshire is not ideal when contestants have to train at least five times a week,’ the insider tells the Daily Mirror.

‘She and Peter are, therefore, looking to rent a place in London and have their eye on a gorgeous £3 million pad on a very desirable road.’

A spokesperson for Abbey was unavailable for comment.
