David and Simon have become BFFs

Amanda Holden says Simon Cowell has become a different man since inviting David Walliams to join him on the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel.

Amanda, 41, says Simon, 52, is having much more fun on the show since striking up a bromance with David, 40, and is losing his reputation as Mr Nasty.

‘He loves being entertained. When he’s having fun he’s at his absolute best,’ says Amanda.

‘There was no going over to the dark side at all this time. I admit I did call him Voldemort this year, but I used to call him Darth.

‘This year, thanks to David Walliams, Simon was literally pinching his nose when he laughed.’

Simon’s nose-pinchingis to stop himself snorting with joy.

‘He will hate me for saying this but he snorts when he laughs for real,’ Amanda tells S magazine.

‘And you know when you have to laugh because someone is taking the mickey out of you? That was David every time.

‘He’s amazing. Simon‘s got a brilliant sense of humour but I would never have taken the risk.’
