The singer was very happy to see Ant and Dec win

Cheryl Cole is thrilled that Ant and Dec won the Landmark Award and Entertainment Presenter gongs (again!) at the National Television Awards last night.

The singer, 30, sent the pair, both 38, her best wishes on Twitter after they were handed the prestigious accolades at London’s O2 Arena.

It seems she has quite a soft spot for the TV presenters as she and the boys all grew up in Newcastle.

‘@antanddec congrats!! So well deserved! TV would not be the same without you. Love you guys 😘 #Geordielove,’ Tweeted Cheryl.

Ant and Dec ended up being a little late for the ceremony after flying in from Cardiff, where they were filming the Welsh leg of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent auditions.

Luckily, they made it in time to pick up their prizes – and were absolutely ecstatic about them.

‘It’s been a pleasure, the last 25 years, we love it… we genuinely love it. Thank you very much indeed,’ said Ant.

Dec added: ‘Neither of us would be here if it wasn’t for each other. Thank you so so much.’
