The chat show host is now in recovery
Jeremy Kyle has taken a break from filming his chat show after undergoing surgery and chemotherapy for testicular cancer.
The presenter had just wrapped the American version of his show when he found a lump and was diagnosed with the disease just before Christmas.
‘This has hit him for six. He’s relatively young and this was the last thing he expected to happen to him,’ says a friend.
‘Just by chance he noticed he had a lump and decided to get it checked out. When the doctors told him it was toxic it turned his family’s life upside down.’
After having treatment, father-of-four Jeremy, 47, was left with a terrifying wait to find out whether the cancer had spread or not.
Thankfully, he’s now been given the all clear and is resting up abroad.
‘Jeremy‘s a very positive guy and he has followed medical advice so hopefully he’s stopped it in its tracks,’ his pal tells The Sun.
‘He’s having a good break now and getting a bit of sunshine to lift his spirits. He hopes to be back filming his show soon. He won’t let this beat him.’
