The model is backing teen Tamera

Katie Price is excited about the first X Factor live show tomorrow.

The model, 35, was gripped while watching the judges’ houses stage of the competition last weekend and is looking forward to seeing what the finalists can do on stage.

‘Loved The X Factor this week, watching hopes being shattered and dreams becoming reality for this year’s participants,’ says Katie.

‘There are great acts and voices this year and I love to read the background of contestants.

‘Who they are, where they are from, and the inevitable stories abut their past and family members’ wrongdoings – which add real substance to their characters.’

Katie – who welcomed son Jett Riviera with husband Kieran Hayler in August – has already earmarked teen Tamera Foster to win this series.

She thinks people should forgive Tamera, 16, for admitting that she smoked cannabis and was given a police caution for ‘beating’ a 15-year-old who refused to kiss her feet last year.

Tamera Foster is my tip this year – fabulous voice, stunning looks and she is only 16. So what if she has been a bit of a rascal,’ writes Katie in The Sun.

‘Cut her some slack – she’s only a kid and wants to put any wrongdoing right.’

Tamera says: ‘I am remorseful. I am really sorry for what happened. I lashed out when I shouldn’t have. It was a really stupid move.

‘I don’t feel like violence is the way to solve things anymore. I’ve realised now it doesn’t make anything better.’
