The latest Strictly evictee clearly loved being on the show
The ex-Emmerdale actress became so dedicated to training for the BBC show that she wasn’t bothered about letting her personal life take a backseat.
‘Dancing has been better than sex for me,’ says Lisa, 36.
‘It’s had to be. I’m too busy for anything else at the moment. We’ve been dancing 11-hour days then having physio – we’re so busy.’
Lisa was voted off Strictly last night after losing out in the dance-off against Denise Van Outen.
She sobbed after the judges made their unanimous decision but insists she’s happy to have got as far as she did and hopes she’s made a lasting impression.
‘I did cry but I’m not sad, I’ve had the best outcome in the world. The main reason is that I’ve given big girls a voice for the first time ever – we’re not unfit,’ Lisa tells The Sun.
‘I rode that staircase faster than my dance partner Robin Windsor did. Big girls don’t just eat curry!’
