The actor enjoyed smooching his latest co-star

Matt Smith has revealed that snogging co-star Jenna-Louise Coleman is the best thing he’s done since becoming Doctor Who in 2010.

The actor puckered up to Jenna-Louise, 26 – who plays his assistant Clara Oswin Oswald – when she made her debut on the show’s Christmas special.

‘My favourite moment? I like our kiss – that was fun, even though it was hell to do,’ says Matt, 30.

‘We did a couple of different versions – there might be some outtakes.’

Matt – who’ll return to our screens as The Doctor later this month – has become good friends with Jenna-Louise since they began working together.

The pair got close after realising they have a similar taste in TV programmes.

‘We bonded over cartoons,’ Matt tells a US TV magazine.

‘I constantly watch The Simpsons and The Raccoons.’
