The judge may bow out of the talent contest to focus on her own music

The X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger has hinted that she may not return for a second series of the ITV show.

Nicole, 34 – who’s mentoring the boys – has two acts competing in the final this weekend but isn’t sure whether she’ll ever be so successful in the competition again.

‘I’m really glad I did the show,’ says Nicole.

‘I don’t know if I’ll come back next year. End on a high, right?’

Nicole will be rooting for both James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas to be crowned winner of The X Factor over Gary Barlow‘s act Christopher Maloney on Sunday.

But she’s also planning the release of her next solo album and is hoping to go on tour.

‘This year has changed my life. As an artist, it’s put into perspective what I want, how to go about it,’ Nicole tells The Sun.

‘People have made me so comfortable and I have to thank you.’
