Could Michael Jackson's daughter become the new Time Lord?

Paris Jackson would love to take over from Matt Smith as Doctor Who when he leaves the cult show later this year.

Michael Jackson‘s daughter, 15, told her 1,142,425 Twitter followers yesterday that she wants producers to consider her as the first female lead.

‘omg i wanna be The Doctor. they said any age & gender , right ?’ Tweeted Paris.

If Paris nabbed the sought-after role – which actors Rupert Grint and Russell Tovey have been linked to – she’d be the youngest ever Doctor by 15 years.

Her new agent Rick Yorn is reportedly also backing her for the part and wants her to become a successful actor like his other clients Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz.

Paris has already landed her first major job in fantasy film Lundon’s Bridge And The Three Keys, which is set for release in the next few months.

‘I want to show I do have talent and I can make it if I try,’ Paris tells US Glamour.

‘I want to be my own person.’
