Marvin and Emma have taken over from Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates

It’s been announced that Emma Willis and Marvin Humes are to replace Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates as presenters of The Voice next year.

Marvin, 28, told his Twitter followers yesterday that he’s ‘thrilled’ to have landed the primetime role, while Emma, 37, said she’s ‘overwhelmed’ by her fans’ messages of support.

The news comes after Holly, 32, and Reggie, 30, confirmed that they wouldn’t be returning to host the talent contest’s third series.

‘I’ve had two wonderful years on the show. Finding the right balance between my work and family life is my priority and this has contributed to my decision,’ Tweeted Holly on Saturday.

‘I look forward to watching the next series from my sofa, and I wish everyone the best of luck. Xxx.’

Emma – who’s married to ex-Busted star Matt Willis – has reassured her Twitter followers that she’ll continue to host Big Brother alongside her new slot.

JLS singer Marvin has dabbled in presenting before and last month fronted an episode of This Morning with wife Rochelle, who’s ecstatic about his new job.

‘So proud of my @MarvinHumes becoming the new host of @BBCTheVoiceUK so so exciting!! Such a proud wifey right now love you lots xxx,’ Tweets Rochelle, 24.
