The cute pooch has star quality

Simon Cowell believes Pudsey the dog could well win Britain’s Got Talent.

The clever pooch won everyone’s hearts on Saturday night after he performed with owner Ashleigh Butler, now 17, in a charming synchronised routine to the B-52’s version of The Flintstones.

Ashleigh, from Northampton, has been training her pet a mix of Border Collie, Bichon Frise
and Chinese Crested – since she was given him as a pup on her 11th birthday.

My life is all about Pudsey. All my friends are going out and getting boyfriends and going to clubs, but it’s my choice to stay at home,’ says the teenager.

‘There are times when I get frustrated because there’s a party and I can’t go because of training but I love it – it’s my life.’

When she leaves school, Ashleigh would love to become a professional dog trainer, coaching mutts for movies.

I think Pudsey would definitely suit being a film dog,’ she says, reports the Mail Online. ‘He knows what to do in front of the cameras – he’s a natural.’
