Former co-stars reunite for new drama

David Tennant and Billie Piper will be soon appearing on the box together for the first time since Doctor Who.

The pair will reunite in new BBC drama Love Life – a partly improvised series about the relationships going on in one town – which also stars Jane Horrocks and David Morrissey.

‘It features some of our very best acting talent working in a way we’ve never seen on screen from them before,’ says the BBC’s drama commissioning chief Ben Stephenson.

David, 40, plays a married man trying to win back his first love while Billie, 28, is a teacher developing feelings for one of her female pupils.

It will be a highly anticipated reunion for Doctor Who fans.

David and Billie won many hearts in their roles as the Doctor and his ever-loyal companion Rose Tyler when they co-starred in the popular sci-fi series for five years.

Love Life hits our TV screens in the New Year.
