The nutritionist can't opt out of the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! challenges

Gillian McKeith must participate in the I’m A Celebrity challenges if she’s to stay in the show.

Viewers have chosen her to take part in eight Bushtucker Trials – and she’s appeared to collapse three times as a result – but must soldier on.

‘I’m not the sort of person who quits, my family have seen me faint before, they are easy with it,’ Gillian, 51, told campmate Stacey Solomon.

‘I have a television career and if I walk out on my contract I will not work in television again.’

Former MP Lembit Opik joked that Gillian had added ‘pregnancy’ and ‘rabies’ to her list of ailments, but this claim – and reports she’d been given a ‘sick note’ ruling her out of future Bushtucker Trials – has been dismissed by an ITV spokesman.
