What a transformation!

Remember Glyn Wise from Big Brother? The young Welsh lad was on one of the best series in the show’s history, starring alongside Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, Nikki Grahame and Pete Bennett, who ended up winning the show.

He was the cute young kid from Wales who managed to win the whole country onto his side – especially when he admitted he didn’t know how to boil an egg – and bagged second place.

Well after literally bearing all on the reality show ten years ago, Glyn has changed quite a lot: he’s now running to be a politician!

The 28-year-old is currently standing as Plaid Cymru’s candidate in Cardiff Central. From lifeguard to Prime Minister: the Glyn Wise story.

Glyn, who describes himself as a ‘tutor, athlete, TV personality and candidate for Plaid Cymru’ in his Instagram bio, has even appeared on ITV Wales with Leanne Wood for a debate.

Plaid Cymru is the National social-democratic party of Wales and he’s supporting their policy of paying back £18,000 of student loans to graduates who stay in Wales to work.

But in an even stranger twist of fate, he’s running up against another Big Brother star – 20-year-old 2015 finalist Joel Williams, who is running for the Conservatives.

Really this opens the possibility for a Big Brother for the politicians. Remember when George Galloway entered the normal CBB house? That was wild.
