The medical student is gutted that he's lost his wheels

Great British Bake Off finalist James Morton has offered his Twitter followers a cake in return for tracking down his stolen bike.

Thieves sawed through the railings by medical student James‘s Glasgow home this week in order to get hold of his wheels and he’s desperate to get them back.

‘My bike’s been stolen. Red Bob Jackson fixed gear, white components, blue tyres, Glasgow. Please spread the word,’ Tweets James, along with a photo of his bicycle.

‘Will go round the usual haunts ASAP – reward of cake offered for safe return.’

James, 21, won legions of fans when he came runner-up to law graduate John Whaite on The Great British Bake Off earlier this year.

He’s amazed by the kindness of those who’ve been looking out for his vintage 1970s bike.

‘Thank you so much for all the retweets, I’m so touched,’ he Tweets.
