In its first week, BGT deliberately went head-to-head with The Voice, forcing the BBC show to move its start time the next week from 6.45pm to 8.20pm.

Ant & Dec‘s Saturday Night Takeaway got a million more viewers than The Voice on 30 March – thanks to Simon being a guest.

Simon‘s said: ‘May the best show win – as long as it’s ours!’

Playing the nice guy

Singer Alice Fredenham, 28, was rejected by The Voice but Si‘s taking advantage.
