Charlie is glad people got to see the real her
‘It’s been a real test of strength of character and I feel proud I’ve achieved it,’ says Charlie, who spent 22 days in the jungle.
Before she entered the celebrity camp, Charlie confided she was only doing the show to lose weight before her return to the soap in February.
Size 10 Charlie, 31 – who’s on a six- month break from ‘Enders – admitted: ‘I’m going to find it hard with the lack of food.
‘I love food. I’m a massive foodie.
‘This camp’s a detox for me. I haven’t been rationed before and it’s going to be hard.
‘But I keep trying to prepare myself. I’ll definitely miss my red wine!’
Charlie, who has now been reunited with 7-year-old daughter Kiki, admits she got very emotional about food during her stint.
‘I can’t believe I cried because I wanted a fajita!’ Charlie tells the Daily Star. ‘But the starvation really gets to you.’
