The singers are good friends
The tattooed guitarist won the show last weekend but reckons runner-up Jahmene, 21, is going to be just as successful as him.
‘Hopefully, he’ll do a collaboration with me if he doesn’t get too big. I’d absolutely love to. I mean we sang all the time together backstage,’ says James.
‘It’d be lovely to do something.’
Jahmene handled taking second place well and sent James a message on Twitter this morning reading: ‘sending love and light your way ! :-).’
‘Do you know what? He’s the most inspirational man I’ve ever met in my life,’ James tells Metro.
‘It felt like we both won, it could have been either one of us.’
