Panic attacks made The X Factor singer consider leaving the show
James thought he was heading for a nervous breakdown, after an ambulance was called to treat his panic attack in October after he sung Mary J Blige’s No More Drama.
‘I thought I would have had to leave the competition,’ James, 24, says.
‘I thought I might have had a nervous breakdown.
‘I don’t think that will happen again because I doubt I will work much harder than I have on X Factor.
‘The thing I’ve found hardest is going from being a normal person to feeling as though I have to expose myself,’ James admits to The Sunday Mirror.
‘It’s an unnatural thing to be involved in.’
Jahmene Douglas is the favourite to win The X Factor while James is second according to bookies.
