Actor Jimi Mistry is backing former MP Ann Widdecombe to win Strictly Come Dancing

Jimi Mistry has become the latest contestant to leave Strictly Come Dancing – despite Ann Widdecombe getting the lowest scores from the judges.

The actor, 37, and partner Flavia Cacace received the fewest votes yesterday.

Jimi is now backing Ann, 63, to win the BBC programme.

‘It’s no longer a dance show,’ he says. ‘It’s an entertainment show.

‘I’m gutted – though I’m not angry with Ann. It’s not her fault.

‘I wish her all the best and now won’t be surprised if she goes on to win.’

Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams and former EastEnders actress Kara Tointon, 27, are among the 9 other celebs that remain on Strictly Come Dancing.
