Lea is staying strong after death of boyfriend

Lea Michele is staying optimistic two months on from the death of boyfriend Cory Monteith.

The actress started yesterday by uploading a snap of a hopeful message on Instagram, reading: Keep your head up. Keep your heart strong.

Rise and shine,’ Lea, 27, captioned the image.

Last month, the actress went back to work on Glee following Cory‘s tragic death from a drugs and alcohol overdose at the age of 31 in July.

She was seen filming scenes in New York a couple of weeks ago.

Her Instagram post comes after further details emerged of the upcoming tribute episode to Cory, which will be titled The Quarterback.

The cast will perform an emotional rendition of Seasons Of Love, a track taken from hit musical Rent, while Lea will only appear in the final act for a ‘limited but incredibly powerful song’.

The [episode] is more of a celebration of Cory‘s life, and the difference he made to us and the fans of the show,’ a source tells Hollywood Life.

As much as it will be [part of the Glee season], it also feels like a stand-alone episode.’

The fifth season of Glee premieres on 4 October on Sky 1.
