Mark Wright's girl will get emotional
The actress, who’s been filming her final scenes with fake bruises and blood this week, is leaving the soap after playing barmaid Tina McIntyre since 2008.
She’s planning to take some mementos when she goes to help her cope.
‘I’ll be crying my eyes out,’ says Michelle, 26, whose exit will be screened in May.
‘I’ll be a mess, because Corrie’s all I’ve ever known.
‘I went into it when I was 19, nearly 20 – I didn’t know the business or the industry and I’ve grown up over the six years. So it’s going to be really sad.
‘I’m going to take Tina’s earrings. I might take something from the Rovers – I’ll have a look around.’
‘I want to continue acting because I’ve found something that I love doing,’ the pretty brunette says.
‘Nothing’s set in stone at the moment, but I do have a few things in the pipeline.
‘I’d love to do something in film or a gritty drama – or a period drama because I love watching them.’
