Winner thinks it's time to move on
The dancer, who won the BBC show with actor Tom Chambers, 31, last month, wants to move on.
‘I think some people will be surprised at my decision but I feel now is the right time to go,’ she says. ‘I have to follow my dreams.’
Camilla, 34, insists her decision has nothing to do with the semi-final voting blunder that left her and Tom facing a dance off despite getting the most support from the public.
‘I was shocked and terribly sad and I did think I never want to go through this again, but that’s not the reason I’m leaving,’ she tells the News Of The World.
‘I need to give other things a go before I settle down and have a family. Winning the show was just the icing on the cake.
‘I’ve always been told to leave a party when you’re having a good time.’
