Pregnant EastEnders star thinks about getting in shape
Jacqueline Jossa has revealed that she’d consider taking part in Strictly Come Dancing next year.
The EastEnders actress is expecting her first child with TOWIE’s Dan Osborne, 23, and thinks the dancing competition could help her to shape up after having her baby.
‘I probably would do it,’ says Jacqueline, 22.
‘[Next year] when I’m trying to lose the baby weight!’
Maybe Jacqueline Jossa could pick up some tips from Dan Osborne, who has showed off his moves on stage by stripping off with saucy dance troupe The Dreamboys.
Luckily the mum-to-be doesn’t mind other women drooling over her fella as she thinks it’s funny rather than sexy.
‘[Girls will be] laughing at him – there’s a difference!’ quips Jacqueline.
‘I’ll be laughing.’
Although she’s now on maternity leave, Jacqueline thought she’d be playing Lauren Branning on EastEnders until the final stages of her pregnancy.
‘I reckon I’ll be there when I’m popping out,’ joked Jacqueline ahead of her departure.
‘Giving birth on set probably, with lots of dramatic close-ups!’
Luckily the soap crew took good care of Dan Osborne‘s baby mama during filming.
‘EastEnders are very good at looking after you in any circumstances,’ says Jacqueline.
Jacqueline is keeping schtum about how her alter ego will be written out but is hoping that she doesn’t get killed off, especially after the ongoing Lucy Beale murder storyline.
‘I’d be really upset, but hopefully they’re not going to do that,’ the actress explains.
‘They’ve already killed Lucy, come on! Not another teen murder!’
We can’t wait to see what happens! Watch the EastEnders hour-long Christmas special on BBC One at 9pm on Christmas Day.
There’ll also be a Strictly Come Dancing special on at 5pm – we hope you’ll be watching, Jacqueline Jossa!
