Marketing manager Paloma Vivanco talks herself out of a job with Lord Alan Sugar

Paloma Vivanco has become the latest contestant to be fired by Lord Alan Sugar on The Apprentice 2010.

The marketing manager was given the boot after her team, Apollo, lost a clothes selling task.

Paloma, 29, sealed her fate in the boardroom when she interrupted Lord Alan while he was delivering his firing speech to attack fellow contestants Sandeesh Samra and Alex Epstein.

‘I don’t like your last outburst and from my 40 years in business and my personal instinct, I don’t like what I’ve seen across the table today,’ he said.

‘You’ve talked yourself out of this and if you had shut up a while back it may be someone else going. Paloma, you’re fired.’

Paloma regrets her final outburst.

‘Looking back at the footage I am absolutely gutted,’ she says.

‘Obviously there was a bit of a slip of the tongue at the final hour so I am a bit disappointed…

‘That is a clear indicator that I needed to keep my mouth shut.’
