Comedian Russell Kane misses Simon Cowell on The X Factor, though

Russell Kane never misses a minute of The X Factor and reckons this year’s panel are doing a good job.

‘I think the whole country wanted to not like the new judges,’ the comedian tells us. ‘Basically, we just don’t like change, do we?

‘We’re all in love with Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell is a Gordon Ramsay figure – we all just dream of being told off by him, it turns us on a bit!

‘How can anyone replace Simon? How can anyone replace Cheryl? And yet here we are, and I think they’re all brilliant.

Russell, 31, thinks Tulisa Contostavlos, 23, is gorgeous and Kelly Rowland, 30, just a little bit scary.

Tulisa, obviously I fancy,’ he says. ‘She’s just hot and she’s got authority. I fancy Kelly as well, although I wouldn’t want to give her too much white wine.

‘”Oh, my God, I thought you loved me, I’ll claw your face…” she’s got a bit of that going on, but at the same time I fancy the arse off her.’
