The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford said to be in talks with show bosses

Frankie Sandford is being lined-up to become a judge on The X Factor.

It’s thought The Saturdays star, 22, will take over from Cheryl Cole, 27, if she lands a job on the new US version of the show.

Frankie has all the right ingredients for an X Factor judge – she looks great, she can hold her own and she’s been there,’ says a source.

The Saturdays have had to work hard so she knows what the wannabes are going through.

‘Just like Cheryl, she is young and glamorous and someone the contestants can relate to.’

Former Spice Girl Mel B, 35, is also in talks about joining Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue on the panel.

‘She is certainly gobby,’ the source tells The Sun. ‘Simon Cowell loves that.’
