The talent show boss says the show is coming back bigger and better
With the hit TV series going into its eighth season, the music mogul revealed his plans at the National Television Awards this week.
‘We are in the process of going through all the shows,’ Simon, 51, explained.
‘I don’t think there’s one set way of doing it and I want to explore a lot of different opportunities.
‘I think there’s going to be a few surprises, I genuinely do.
‘No one’s been contracted yet – apart from me.
‘I’m gonna make an announcement in two weeks’ time.’
The talent show producer has already made some new changes to Britain’s Got Talent by introducing new judges David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre, and admits that it’s vital to shake things up.
‘The most important thing I’ve learned with these shows is don’t be predictable,’ he says.
‘We have to make sure all the shows are gonna be back bigger, better, stronger, different.’
