Twitter campaign gathers pace

The X Factor tour is always a good earner for contestants following the end of the show.

Even those who didn’t win are purported to earn up to £100,000 – and now it seems  Christopher Maloney could miss out on that cash.

Reports suggest he could be replaced by Kye Sones, who was voted out in week five, despite coming third in the competition.

And a Twitter campaign is gathering pace, with fellow contestants  James Arthur, Ella Henderson, Rylan Clark and Union J Tweeting their support for Kye’s inclusion.

Controversial Christopher denied being abusive to Carolynne Poole backstage at the show’s final last weekend, and claimed he missed the show due to illness.

But a source tells The Sun that bosses plan to meet today to discuss whether he will still play a part in the tour, also featuring  Jahmene Douglas and District3.

Kye‘s made no secret of the fact that he’s not Christopher‘s biggest fan.

The night of the final, he Tweeted his support for ‘the two Js‘ – James and Jahmene – and said how he was looking forward to seeing the other contestants, but didn’t mention Chris.

During his time on the show, Kye said: ‘He’s had a mask on for ten weeks and  it has well and truly slipped off and shown him for who he is.’
