The Irish X Factor judge has had a long chat with Simon Cowell

Louis Walsh has had a long chat with Simon Cowell about the future of The X Factor – and he says ‘no one is safe.’

‘I had a long, long chat with Simon on the phone last Wednesday night,’ Louis reveals.

‘He knows that there are problems, and things have to change.

‘No one is safe, and we all know that.’

Louis doesn’t rule out a return for Cheryl Cole, 30 – but he thinks the show will only recover its two million lost viewers with a return of the man himself.

‘I think The X Factor misses his authority, and that if he returned it would bring back the two million people we have lost,’ he tells The Daily Mail.

‘We are really missing Simon. As a judge, and as a producer.’

It’s no wonder – Louis says the two old pals give each other the nicknames Miss Cowell and Mrs Walsh.

‘We are like these two old queens crashing round the place,’ he says.
