From Kim Kardashian to George Clooney, we love a good celeb cameo on Downton Abbey.
The final series of Downton Abbey is arriving on our screens later on this year, and that means we’ll be back daydreaming about wearing beaded dress and ringing bells for butlers.
But it looks like we’re not the only who wish we were part of the 1920s period drama, as Vanessa Feltz fangirls about how much she loves the show.
‘I’m an open Downton fan!’ Vanessa, 53, said at the Downton Ball raising money for Centrepoint.
‘I’d like to be Maggie Smith‘s younger sister. The secret sister that nobody knows about!’
We would love to see that! And when asked if she would be a bigger diva, she replied,: ‘Oh yes!’
The radio host isn’t the only celeb who would like to appear on the show.
‘I’m obsessed with Downton Abbey,’ Peter Andre shared. ‘It would be a dream to cameo in Downton. That would be amazing.’ Maybe Peter could make an appearance with a mysterious girl?
There’s even been talks of the one and only Kim Kardashian eyeing up a cameo in the series that’s become a worldwide phenomena. Yes. You heard us right.
According to The Sun, the 33-year-old realty star has even gone as far to ask Laura Carmichael, who plays Lady Edith Crawley, to put in a good word for her.
‘I’m a big fan. I’d love to be on it if they asked. I love things like that,’ Kim said.
We can just picture it now. Kim K and Dame Maggie Smith going on a selfie-spree.
There’s been some pretty big celeb cameos in the past, with Jeremy Piven appearing as Mr.Selfridge, along George Clooney and Joanna Lumely in a Christmas special of the series, that raised money for Text Santa.
And we may be seeing Cate Blanchett pop up in Downton before it ends.
‘We’ve got a little while left. There was a rumour that Cate Blanchett has wanted to be in it. I’d love that!’ said Sophie McShera, who plays Daisy Mason on the show.
Sophie stars as one of the step-sisters in this year’s live-action remake of Cinderella, along with Cate who played the step-mother. So Sophie could work her magic and make this dream come true?
‘Maybe! She IS my mum!’
Now, if only our fairy godmother can grant us our wish that this wasn’t the final series please – that would be great. We can’t bear to say goodbye to Downton!
