X Factor finalist Katie Waissel says she's got no hidden agenda

X Factor finalist Katie Waissel has hit back at critics who’ve accused her of playing up for the cameras.

The singer has not connected with viewers after finding herself in the bottom 2 twice, but she hopes they’ll warm to her quirky personality in coming weeks.

‘I’m not an actress, I’m not a fake and I’ve got no hidden agenda with anything. When I sing, take it for what it is,’ Katie, 24, says in an X Factor video diary.

‘I know I’m not the best singer in the world but I have a passion and I really feel like I deserve to be be here.’

Katie – who is being mentored by Cheryl Cole, 27 – is favourite to be voted off The X Factor this weekend.
